About Academy 147
Academy 147, part of the Academy Aviation Group, is an internationally recognized Maintenance Training Organization (MTO) with a global footprint, specializing in business/special-mission fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
The organization found its humble beginnings in June 2014 and was approved as an EASA Part-147 MTO in August 2014, by the Transport Malta Civil Aviation Directorate, and later approved by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) in December 2015, Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) in October 2017, and Directorate General of Civil Aviation of India (DGCA) in April 2021. Academy 147’s courses were also accepted by the FAA in 2018. UKCAA Approval was granted in 2022 and Australian CASA approval in 2023.
Academy 147 serves a worldwide audience and is composed of staff based in Malta, mainland Europe, UAE and the USA, together with a team of instructors, each strategically positioned in order to efficiently provide training around the globe.
