General Familiarization Training
Level 1
OBJECTIVES
On completion of one of our C/T4 Level 1 General Familiarization courses each participant will have gained knowledge on:
- The general layout/characteristics of the aircraft’s systems and engines
- The special tools needed to maintain the aircraft.
- The safety procedures and the maintenance airworthiness checks related to this aircraft.
- The aircraft’s technical documentation.
- In-service difficulties
- Service bulletins
Knowledge Delivery
We use a variety of visual media, diagrams, and other training aids in conjunction with our training manuals. In many cases, we also have access to the aircraft and can conduct live demonstrations to give students a better hands-on understanding of the aircraft systems.
We prefer a “Practical hands-on” approach to maintenance training. Each of our instructors is actively working on the aircraft and is up to date with the latest in-service developments.
Certificate
Upon completing one of our General Familiarization (C/T4) courses and when necessary, successfully passing the examination, participants will receive a Certificate of Recognition/Completion from Academy 147. Currently Academy 147 is approved/accepted to issue certificates under the following authorities:
- FAA IA Renewal Accepted (General Familiarization)
- EASA Part-147
- GCAA CAR 147
In addition to the above, we can also accommodate several other international regulatory requirements. Over the years, we have had our courses accredited and approved by numerous National Aviation Authorities.
